The Driver Bubble™ FixiCover TfL Shield is a new version of the Shield. It’s a partition screen fully compliant and approved by Transport for London.

The FixiCover TfL Shield is a partition screen crafted from 1.5mm polycarbonate, a material renowned for its high-impact strength and durability.
The upper left and right corners of the screen are made with a more flexible material so that side airbags can be deployed successfully in the event of collision or accident.

As set out in the ECE 43.01 document, the FixiCover TfL Shield has been subjected to flexibility, impact 227g, fire resistance, light, and chemical resistance tests.
Flexibility: passed
The Shield measured a 12mm vertical deviation. The required deviation limit is 50mm.
Impact 227g: passed
A ball was dropped onto the Shield from a height of 2m. There was no damage recorded at all.
Fire resistance: passed
The material used for the Shield is self-extinguishing so there was no burn rate calculation required.
Light: passed
The required transmission percentage required to pass the test was 70% and the Shield measured 89.67%.
Chemical resistance: passed
This test was conducted using non-abrasive soap, window cleaning solution, undiluted denatured alcohol, petrol and kerosene. For each chemical, the Shield did not see any softening, tackiness, crazing or loss of transparency.
