United Kingdom
London
In London, the installation of driver safety partition screens in vehicles used for private hire purposes is supported by Transport for London (TfL)

BCP Council (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole) approved the use of the Driver Bubble Flex.

United States
The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advises to install a partition in vehicles as one of the measures how a driver can be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic. The CDC states the following: “If you work for a company that offers a large fleet of vehicles, ask company management for a car/taxi with a partition between driver and passengers, if available.”

Netherlands
In opdracht van het ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat (IenW) heeft de RDW onderzoek gedaan naar de veiligheid van afscherming in personenauto’s en lichte bedrijfsauto’s. De RDW stelt dat het plaatsen van afscherming tussen de eerste en tweede zitrij mogelijk is, mits er aan diverse veiligheidsvoorschriften is voldaan.

On behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW), the RDW has investigated the safety of shielding in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The RDW states that it is possible to place a screen between the first and second row of seats, provided that various safety regulations are met.

Hasta donde sabemos, no existen prohibiciones o normativas por parte del gobierno de España que regule el uso de mamparas para los coches. De hecho, algunos organismos locales como el IMET (Instituto Metropolitano del Taxi) de Barcelona está permitiendo su uso.
As far as we know, there are no prohibitions or regulations by the government of Spain that regulates the use of partitions for cars. In fact, some local organizations such as the IMET (Instituto Metropolitano del Taxi) in Barcelona are allowing its use.
